Location: Offered either live and in person, or as a live Zoom webinar, or as a hybrid program based on State COVID 19 guidelines in place in mid- May.*Once you register through the Zoom link that will be provided to you via email upon your registration, Zoom will inform you how to join the program on May 22.

Cost: $40 members, $45 non-members

Limit: 15, per session

Class Description: In this interactive and hands-on workshop, Spokane artist Nicholas Sironka leads students in an introduction to the origin of Batik art (the alternating application of hot wax and cold-water dyes on fabric) and how to apply this technique to creating art. The workshop is appropriate for people of all ages and is designed to not only broaden understanding of Batik art, but also, explain the differences between "tie and dye" and the Batik painting process. All materials provided.
