Inland Classical Theater is thrilled to present "The Triumph of Love" by Pierre de Marivaux, translated by Stephen Wadsworth. This 18th century French farce (with traditional commedia dell'arte mask work) follows Princess Léonide as she disguises herself as a man and sneaks into the house and garden of the strict philosopher Hermocrates to find the prince she loves.
This play is in the MAC's outdoor amphitheater. Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring blankets, cushions, snacks, and soft drinks to enjoy a night of farce!
There will be a 21+ beer garden in the upper plaza which will open an hour before the performance starts and serve during the intermission. *Please note that all alcoholic drinks will need to remain in the beer garden.
This play is presented by the Inland Classical Theater. To find out more about them, visit their website here. "The Triumph of Love (Wadsworth)" is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc.
