August 27 Talk: Artist Jean Arnold
Regional artist Jean Arnold, part of our exhibition Fire: Rebirth and Resilience, looks at how modern fires in our region reshape communities and affect individuals in lasting ways. During this After Hours join us in the gallery for Jean's talk about her work and art with a focus on her three paintings now on display in the show, plus other recent work that deals with fire in various aspects.
About the artist: Jean Arnold is a visual artist residing in Lewiston, ID and has exhibited her work in numerous solo and group shows, regionally and nationally. Jean is visually engaged with how humans impact the land. After graduate school, she worked with the urban landscape for almost a decade and now she is visually engaged with local surroundings.
