Campbell House Special Guided Tour - preregister and meet in the Carriage House
Cost: $12 members, $15 non-members

When Japan opened to the West and exhibited its wares at Paris' 1867 Exposition Universelle, it ignited an obsession with all things Japanese in Europe and Britain. Then at the 1876 U.S. Centennial Exhibition in Philadelphia, America got bitten by the bug: the Japan Craze. For the next 40 years, nearly all aspects of American design felt its influence. The Campbells and their Tudor Revival home were no different. Join us for this special guided tour of Campbell House to discover the significance of Japanese art and culture on its objects and interiors.

About the Program: We offer special guided tours of Campbell House focused on a topic not normally covered in your regular visit to the historic house. These tours last about 50 minutes and then you're welcome to tour the house on your own. We recommend pre-booking as the tour often sells out.

**Please be aware that Campbell House is a historical building with many stairs.**
