March Film: Sanjuro (1962)

This film follows a crafty samurai, Sanjuro, who stumbles upon a group of naive young samurai seeking to expose corruption in their clan. He quickly uncovers the clan's Superintendent is plotting to seize power and Sanjuro helps his fellow clansmen navigate dangerous situations to thwart the Superintendent's plans.  

Directed by Akira Kurosawa. Run time: 1 hr, 36 mins. Content warning: samurai violence, blood. Not rated.
