About the Program: Explore early Spokane history as you traverse Campbell House and view specially selected artifacts and photos from our collection. Stop by stations throughout the house to learn about early Spokane businesses and owners including the Ah Yen family, Chinese merchants who sold Japanese and Chinese goods; John Byron Parker, an African American pioneer who owned Spokane's OK Barbershop in 1878; and Emma Vogel whose father Charles built and gifted her Natatorium Park's Looff Carousel which has brought joy to Spokane families since 1909!
