Sketching Historic Browne's Addition for Teens

1:00 - 3:00 pm, meet outside on plaza 
$25 per person (registration for this class includes admission to other Homeschool Day activities)

Artist Megan Perkins provides teens of all skill levels the opportunity to learn the essence of sketching outdoors. The focus will be on utilizing expressive lines and drawing buildings as well as general tips for sketching. Students will make portraits of a neighborhood home or building in a loose and creative way.

Limited capacity, registration required and open through September 19

*Basic art supplies provided for use during the class. You are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.*

Clipboard
Loose leaf paper
Pencil & eraser
Watercolor set with paints, brushes, cup for water and paper towels

1 Cotman Sketchers' Pocket Box with 12 colors
1 Collapsible silicone water cup
1 General's AllArt sharpener with container
1 2B General's graphite pencil
1 White Factis eraser
1 Protege white nylon Travil Brush - Round

Megan will do a sketching demo that includes watercolor. Please prepare to be outside in warm or cool weather -- water bottle, sunscreen, hat, and comfortable shoes are recommended. If student has difficulty sitting on the ground or on various surfaces in Browne's Addition neighborhood, please bring a folding stool or camp chair.
